PAGNY Names Sandra Maldonado as New Chief Affiliation Officer for NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx

PAGNY is pleased to announce that Sandra Maldonado has been appointed PAGNY’s Chief Affiliation Officer for NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx. In this position, Ms. Maldonado will serve as PAGNY’s site leader at those two hospitals and oversee finance, human resources, payroll and compliance operations and the Physician Faculty Practice plan. Ms. Maldonado previously served as PAGNY’s Director of Finance, where she worked with budget analysts to maximize revenue for PAGNY.
Prior to coming to PAGNY in 2015, Ms. Maldonado served in a number of important positions at the North Bronx Healthcare Network, including Affiliation Contract Manager and Budget Director. She has also served in several administrative positions at the NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, including Deputy Budget Director and Supervising Systems Analyst.
Ms. Maldonado received her Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Mercy College. She has lived in the Bronx her entire life and, as a child, remembers taking her grandmother to Jacobi for medical appointments. It was those visits that inspired Ms. Maldonado to pursue a career in healthcare.
