NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem’s First Ever Simulation Fellowship Program

The Institute for Medical Simulation & Advanced Learning (IMSAL) opened at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. It is the first Health and Hospitals Corporation simulation laboratory and offers a Simulation Fellowship program. Under the direction of Dr. Michael Meguerdichian, the Simulation Fellowship Program offers training in central line placement skills and advance airway courses.
According to Dr. Meguerdichian, “It is my intention to expand the program to offer additional trainings as we’re able to acquire increased funding which we are actively working on.” The lab is located on the 5th floor in the MLK building.
