Katrina Adams
Katrina Adams is the Chief Affiliate Officer at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. A graduate of Saint John University, Katrina is a passionate and experienced healthcare administrator with extensive experience in clinical operations, management, recruiting, EMR systems, and other skills needed in the ever-changing healthcare environment. In her role as CAO, Katrina leads operations in finance, human resources, and payroll. She is also a licensed fire and emergency drill conductor. In her spare time, Katrina enjoys fine dining and outdoor activities.
Lisa Claudio (Wong)
Lisa Claudio (Wong) is the Chief Affiliate Officer at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan Hospital. She is a graduate of ASA College and has extensive experience in project management, revenue cycle management, and office operations. Her proven ability to strategically plan and implement organizational initiatives has proven to be a vital asset over the course of her career. In her role as CAO, Lisa leads a variety of efforts and is instrumental in streamlining daily business activities while significantly improving efficiency. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and gardening.
Ignacio Lopez
Ignacio Lopez is the Chief Affiliate Officer at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. Ignacio is a graduate of Regents College and a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He is a seasoned healthcare leader with deep operations experience spanning multiple healthcare delivery systems. Ignacio’s ability to lead complex projects to their successful completion while working with multi-disciplinary teams has proven to be vital to Lincoln’s ongoing success. He is a creative thinker and a collaborative team builder.
Shannon Freeman
Shannon Freeman is the Chief Affiliate Officer at NYC Health + Hospitals/Gotham Health. Shannon earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Mercy College, and recently received her Doctorate in Public Health, Health Policy, and Management from New York Medical College. As CAO, Shannon provides excellent customer service to hospital administrators, physicians, and clinical leadership, and supports them on administrative issues. She is also an innovator, designing, monitoring, and evaluating new strategies to propel Gotham Health forward and ensure PAGNY’s mission is fulfilled. In her spare time, Shannon enjoys traveling to different countries, learning about their cultures, and creating unforgettable memories. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Jacqueline Rivera-Herrera
Jacqueline Rivera-Herrera is the Chief Affiliation Officer at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. Jacqueline is a multi-dimensional change agent with a proven track record for redirecting healthcare organizations through quantifiable metrics, including revenue, operational efficiencies, and retention. She is an innovative executive with the ability to create and refine tailored business models specific to the healthcare industry. In her role, Jacqueline focuses on strategic planning, quality assurance and risk management, and process mapping and improvement.
Nicole Guijarro
Nicole Guijarro is the Chief Affiliation Officer at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn. Nicole is an experienced leader with a passion for building highly effective teams, working with physician providers and leadership, and building staffing models to ensure maximum efficiency and best care outcomes. As CAO, Nicole is responsible for leading site operations for physician and affiliated providers services contracted at South Brooklyn Health. She also partners with facility leadership to ensure strategic goals are met through staffing expansion and provider relations management.
Sandra Maldonado
Sandra Maldonado is the Chief Affiliation Officer at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. Sandra has more than 25 years of hospital administration experience and is a team player with the ability to multi-task and work in challenging environments. She is extremely motivated to continue to develop skills and grow as a professional. As a CAO, Sandra serves as a key member of the Joint Oversight Committee and the Local Governance Council at both sites. She also assists with local labor management issues with HR and executes patient care initiatives through recruitment and service contracts.
