Overview
Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding two Outpatient Psychiatrists to the group at 815 Broadway/Gotham. The Center of Excellence is/are part of the NYC Health + Hospitals Gotham Health Clinics (NYC H+H). The goal of this community-based practice is to provide outpatient services to patients at high risk of contracting Covid-19, as well as short- and long-term follow-up care for those recovering from the disease. Preliminary evidence links Covid-19 to potential heart damage, lung injuries, blood clots, and mental health conditions.
Responsibilities
- Evaluation, treatment and provision of direct care to patients in the clinical setting
- Provide clinical guidance to other members of the healthcare team as needed
- Participate in performance improvement and quality management projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Active, unrestricted NYS License
- Active DEA Waiver
- Active X-Waiver preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team setting
- Familiarity with high-risk patients and cultural sensitivity in community settings
