Overview

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Neurointerventional Radiologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. The Hospital is part of NYC Health + Hospitals. Kings County Hospital operates a world-renowned Level 1 Trauma Center, one of only three in Brooklyn, which serves 2.6 million residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Kings County is located in the East Flatbush/Prospect-Lefferts section of Brooklyn, close to the 2 and 5 subways. Our patients are diverse, with the majority being Afro-Caribbean. Most of our patients are native English speakers. Knowledge of French/Haitian Creole is helpful, but not required. 

 

 

Opportunity Details

The provider will assist in the day-to-day operations of the division of NeuroInterventional Radiology.

 

All procedures as outlined by the division of interventional radiology including but not limited to:

  • Cerebral and spinal Angiography
  • Endovascular tumor embolization
  • Endovascular treatment of Arteriovenous Malformations
  • Endovascular treatment of Dural Arteriovenous fistula
  • Intracranial Venous Stenting
  • Endovascular treatment of Carotid and Vertebral artery dissection
  • Kyphoplasty
  • Endovascular treatment of intracranial arterial aneurysms
  • Endovascular clot removal for treatment of acute stroke
  • Call responsibility at NYCHH/Kings County

Qualifications

    • Board Certified in NeuroInterventional Radiology qualified by the American Board of Radiology
    • Current and unrestricted New York State license 
    • Current DEA Registration
