Occupational Therapist (Per Diem)

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an Occupational Therapist (Per Diem) to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan.  Metropolitan Hospital is a full-service community hospital that provides state-of-the-art care and leading-edge technology in a modern environment. We provide culturally sensitive care to patients from all five New York City boroughs in a welcoming and hospitable setting and utilizing the latest advances in medical science.  The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with New York Medical College to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Opportunity Details:

• Performs appropriate treatment involving therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and other modalities.
• Keeps accurate records of patient evaluations, progress, recommendations, and goals.
• Attends rounds and clinics appropriate to area assignment.
• Keeps daily attendance record of patients.
• Educates patient and/or family regarding the occupational therapy aspects of diagnosis, treatment plan, and prognosis in an appropriate manner.

• Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in New York State
• Per Diem rate = $65* per hour
