NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln Dental Services:
During the past 12 months, Dr. Philbert and the Lincoln Dental team have been involved in a full-scale transformational process specifically designed to increase access to dental and other types of care for patients in the downtown Bronx community. The process has involved team collaboration, staff education, an increase in the number of general practice and OMS residents, adjustments to the appointment template for each provider and the expansion of dental services to Morrisania and Segundo Ruiz Belvis Diagnostic Treatment Centers. The recently established Saturday clinic not only provides additional hours for patients and enables the facility to accommodate the increasing volume of patients.
