Farhad Yeroshalmi, DMD, FAAPD, FICD

Dr. Farhad Yeroshalmi graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and subsequently completed a residency in Dental Medicine and Surgery at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. He continued his Advanced Specialty Education Program in Pediatric Dentistry at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health of the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.

Dr. Yeroshalmi joined the Jacobi Medical Center in 2004, and was instrumental in the initiation and development of the Residency Program in Pediatric Dentistry. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and a Fellow of the International College of Dentists. Dr. Yeroshalmi is a Professor of Dentistry & Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, holds an appointment to the medical staff in the Department of Dentistry and the Department of Pediatrics at the Jacobi Medical Center, and is well published in peer-reviewed journals and textbooks. Dr. Yeroshalmi has served on the Council on Post-Doctoral Education of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry for five consecutive terms as the Chair of the Society of Post-Doctoral Program Directors, as well as serving on the Examination Committee of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

In 2020, Dr. Yeroshalmi was inducted into the International College of Dentists, one of the oldest and most prestigious honorary dental societies in the world, bestowed on fewer than 3% of dentists in the United States, for his demonstrated Integrity, Leadership and Service to others. In addition to educating and training residents, Dr. Yeroshalmi provides extensive pediatric dental care to patients in the operating room and clinical setting.
