Dr. Yeroshalmi is the Chief of Pediatric Dentistry at NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi/ North Central Bronx and the Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program Director at NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi. Dr. Yeroshalmi graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and subsequently completed a Residency in Dental Medicine and Surgery at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, and his Residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health, of the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.
Dr. Yeroshalmi joined Jacobi Medical Center in 2004, and was instrumental in the initiation and development of the Residency Program in Pediatric Dentistry. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and is a Professor of Dentistry at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He holds an appointment to the medical staff in the Department of Dentistry and Department of Pediatrics, and is the Associate Director of Continuing Dental Education at the Jacobi Medical Center. Dr. Yeroshalmi also served on the Council on Post-Doctoral Education of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry five consecutive terms as the Chair of the Society of Post-Doctoral Program Directors, and also currently serves on the Examination Committee of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
In addition to educating and training residents, Dr. Yeroshalmi provides extensive pediatric dental care to patients in the operating room and clinical setting.
