EmployeeConnect & Talk Space

The EmployeeConnect program provided by Lincoln Financial provides:

  • Financial consultations and referrals

United Health Care -Talk Space

Talk Space connects people to quality care with an effective alternative to face-to-face therapy

  • 4000+ licensed therapists across all 50 states
  • Digital provider matching tool
  • Send text, audio and video messages and receive responses daily, 5 days per week
  • Schedule real-time video sessionsas needed
  • Ability to begin therapy within hoursof selecting a provider, no appointment needed

Optum Emotional Support Phone Line

Optum’s Emotional-Support Help Line is available to anyone in need. Professionally trained, mental health staff, are available to support people who may be suffering from fear or stress from COVID-19. The Help Line number is 866-342-6892 and will be open 24 hours a day, seven days week.

Additional Supports from NYC Health + Hospitals and Other Partners

To support your mental health, NYC Health + Hospitals has launched a system-wide emotional staff support hotline at 646-815-4150. Licensed professionals are available from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to provide support for staff experiencing fatigue, stress, anxiety, fear, burnout, or depression. This operates alongside H+H’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP). You and your family can receive services through EAP by calling (212) 306-7660 or e-mailing eap@olr.nyc.gov.

You can also call New York State’s COVID-19 Emotional Support Hotline at 1-844-863-9314 for mental health counseling. Or reach out anonymously 24/7 to the State’s Crisis Text Line by texting GOT5 to 741741.

Governor Cuomo recently announced a partnership with Headspace to offer free meditation and mindfulness content for all New Yorkers coping with this unprecedented public health crisis. You can access a collection of evidence-based, guided meditations, along with at-home mindful workouts, sleep and kids content to help address rising stress and anxiety on Headspace.

The PAGNY Health and Research Foundation, through a partnership with Stanford University School of Medicine, is also giving Providers access to a free WellMD webinar on “Managing Anxiety Related to Taking Care of Patients.” You can also receive CME credit for this webinar by setting up an account.
