In the midst of the continuously evolving Coronavirus/COVID-19 situation, PAGNY supports all our Providers efforts as front-line healthcare workers to reduce the transmission of infectious disease in the workplace.

If an employee is prevented from reporting to work due to (1) a NYC Health Department quarantine ruling, or (2) medical orders in accordance with CDC recommendations requiring isolation, quarantine or self-monitoring at home, PAGNY will provide you with paid time off for up to fourteen (14) calendar days for the dates you were scheduled to work. In those circumstances, you will not have to charge the time you are required to be absent from work to your leave balances.

As we are a partner in providing services within the NYC H+H system, overall compliance with the system’s Occupational Health Services (OHS) policy is paramount. In order to confirm your need to be absent from work due to isolation, quarantine or self-monitoring at home, PAGNY and/or OHS will request appropriate documentation from you and/or your health care provider. We treat any and all medical information shared as confidential and appreciate your cooperation if and when such documentation is requested.

We ask all employees to cooperate in taking steps to reduce the transmission of infectious disease in the workplace. The best strategy remains the most obvious—frequent hand washing with soapy water; covering your mouth whenever you sneeze or cough; and discarding used tissues in wastebaskets.

We are working with NYC H+H on this matter as it evolves and are committed to the health and safety of our employees. We will continue to update you as relevant information is made available.
