Tuhina De O’Connor, M.S., M.P.H., has held leadership positions at several not-for-profit organizations including Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, the Robin Hood Foundation, and the New York Asian Women’s Center where she was Executive Director for eight years. A certified 21/64 trainer in family philanthropy advising—helping families and foundations to make their philanthropic giving more strategic and rewarding—she is the co-founder of Faces of Giving, a not-for-profit philanthropic advising service for families of color.
Tuhina serves on the boards of Nonprofit New York and Vibrant Emotional Health (formerly Mental Health Association of New York City). She is a founding member of the Asian Women’s Giving Circle. She has also served on the boards of the New York Women’s Foundation, the Lupus Foundation, the Human Services Council of New York City, and the New York State Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
Tuhina received the New York Governor’s Award to End Domestic Violence in 2002, and the Hero Award from the Robin Hood Foundation in 2003 for her work at the NY Asian Women’s Center. She received her Masters of Science and a Masters of Public Health degrees from the University of Michigan.
